Lib Tech EJack Knife HP C3 2018 Snowboard Black Blue 157
OVERVIEW
When you want ultimate grip in icy conditions, pack the E-Jack with you. This is Eric Jackson's whip so you are probably already envious. Part of his style is locking in what seems to be impossible, going big when you least expect it, and handling jumps like the biggest fish in the stream of snowboarders.
He accomplishes this with the help of Lib's powerful C3 construction that has mild rocker between your feet and big, responsive camber chunks under your feet extending to the end of the contact patch. Effortless edge-hold is accomplished with seven edge serrations that dig in and grips ice. The board is also beefed up with Basalt fibers, a worker-friendly version of carbon-fiber, a tough bio-bean topsheet, and birch reinforced sintered sidewalls for speed and durability. Seriously, this Knife can cut through the ice and packs a punch in the lift-off zone. Huck it upstream and let this fish write a new tale.
RECOMMENDED USE
All Mountain + Freeride - Versatile go-everywhere board dependable enough for the steep and deep.
SHAPE
Directional Twin - Directional Twin snowboards will have a symmetrical shape, yet can have either a slightly set back stance or slightly stiffer tail depending on the construction.
Either way, a Directional Twin is designed for freestyle-influenced park or all-mountain riders who rock their normal stance most of the time but still like to hit things switch from time to time.
All the same fun as a regular twin but with a little more oomph in the tail for snapping off lips and setting down the landing gear.
FLEX
Medium - All-around stability, pop, versatile response and control for all types of riders
KEY FEATURES
C3 Camber/Banana Rocker Profile - Trapezoidal camber enhanced with Banana Tech for aggressive new traditionalists and weight lifters. Focuses a mild amount of pressure between your feet for carving, edge grip on ice and float in powder. Provides maximum pressure at the tip and tails for power and end-to-end stability.
Magne-Traction Serrated Edges - Award-winning Magne-Traction features strategically placed bumps that create seven contact points along each side of your sidecut. This increases edge hold and allows for knife-like carves without the hook. Magne-Traction is a perfect complement to Banana Rocker and helps increase grip and control.
Firepower Construction (FP) - Travis Rice’s new lower spin weight tip and tail construction … combines extended core, thinner tip/tail profile reinforced with UHMW material for impact deflection, carbon stiffening, and end grain Balsa Tech from Lib's Cygnus X1. This is Lib's smoothest construction because of its TNT base, ultra high molecular weight (UHMW) sintered sidewalls, and lightweight core woods like the added balsa wood in the center of the board to shed a few ounces, increasing your air-time and reducing leg fatigue.
Usually found on their higher-end boards, this is Lib's smoothest construction that remains lighter and environmentally nicer than their OP or HP constructions.
Handbuilt in the USA - Every Lib Tech board is handmade by snowboarders with jobs in the USA. Libs are built with tough and fast UHMW external sidewalls and impact resistant end grain internal sidewalls. Ultra-light weight rugged "polymer bumper" sandwich tip and tails are standard on all Lib Techs. Steel edges are used for control along the contact area and "tucked in" just past the contacts for minimum spin weight. This means that heavy, unnecessary steel edges are eliminated from the tips and tails.
